The Campaign for a Fair Society is a federal organisation which has been formed by the national UK groups.

The Campaign began on 30 November 2010 in Southwark. A group of people who had worked for many years alongside disabled people and their families met to explore future prospects. The group felt strongly that many of the hard-won achievements of the last 40 years were now under threat and that something should be done.

There are now Campaigns in Scotland and England.

The UK steering group:

Scotland: Jim Elder-Woodward (Chair)  |

Norma Curran |

England: Sue Livett |

Additional members

Jo Clare |

Simon Duffy | (non-voting)

Bob Tindall |

Norther Ireland: Ivanka Antova (Chair)
